Non- perishab
le foods are the foods that could be kept for many days they could not get spoiled at room temperature. These foods are usually dried foods that can be kept for months. Example for the no-perishable foods is dry fish. The foods are dried in the sun and they are seasoned with lot of salt so that they could be used for future. The micro organism in the food is killed by either of the methods like pickling, salting and drying. But while the people store this kind of food they should be very careful if one drop water falls in then they could be of no use. So the people should be very careful in this storing method. While people use this type of food they could get good taste in their food before cooking the food they should try to boil them well so that the salt content is removed and they taste better. In early days man followed this method since they could not get meats often, so while they hunt any animals they could dry the meat in sunlight and then they could use them in their meals. This is traditional method of storing of food and it’s followed still now in many foods.
